She is Past Exco member of Singapore Institute of Planners and Landscape Architects.
She worked 27 years in planning, design and implementation of comprehensive developments of Public Housing and Town of Housing & Development Board, a statutory Board for public housing and Town Development.
For 14 years in Surbana International Consultant Pte. Ltd. as Vice President designing and implementation of landscape in Public Housing Developments and Parks. As a Team member in both Offices, she has won many local and International Awards for Planning and design of Tampines and Pasir Ris Town Towns and landscape Projects.
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT AND MASTER PLANNER
With over 45 years of diversified international experience, Satish Khanna has worked on a wide range projects in the US, the Gulf, Nepal, Philippines and almost all regions of India. Graduated with Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from University of Pennsylvania, USA, under the tutelage of Prof. lan McHarg – the imminent Ecological Planner, who changed the perception of man’s relationship with nature.
During ten years stay in the US, involved in numerous Planned Residential and Recreational Communities as well as Flood Control and Recreational Dam projects. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team from the US, involved in development of large Naval Townships in the Gulf and Caspian Sea regions. As Landscape Architect member of an international team of the World Bank, participated in Master Development
Plan for transforming environmentally fragile Subic Bay Naval Community in the Philippines from defense to civilian use. His portfolio in India include a wide range of projects including townships, large residential and recreational communities, industrial estates, academic and institutional campuses, airports, hotels and resorts.
Fellow of the Indian Society of Landscape Architects. Satish Khanna has been on Visiting Faculty and Jury Member of Schools of Landscape Architecture in India, Jury member of National Architectural competitions, his works have been published in the US and India.
Recipient of Prime Minister’s National Award for Excellence in Urban Planning and Design. The Indian Society of Landscape Architects has awarded him ISOLA Gold Medal – the highest honor for Lifetime Achievements and Exceptional Services to the Profession. Recently he was honored by HI-Aim Hospitality and Tourism Conference in recognition of his contribution to the Hospitality Industry.

David is an Architect & building engineer. His Areas of specialization include Urban planning and Urban sustainability policy development. He has been actively involved in promotion of green roofs since 2005 and organized Conference in 2006. He has also been ivolved in the Health sector since 2013. He was a Session moderator at the WGIC 2012 and Previous Chair, Scandinavian Green Infrastructure Ass. (SGIA). He is the Vice Chair, Norwegian Association for Green Infrastructure (NFGI) and a Board member of World Green Infrastructure Network

From the beginning of the research work she was associated with green infrastructure. Initially, her research focused on trees in urban areas, current interest focus on green roofs and living walls. Since 2005, she is employed at the Institute of Landscape Architecture at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, where she gives lectures on the using of plants in the urban landscape and for students of Polish-Chinese specialization on green roofs and walls.
She is the author of scientific and popular science articles on urban greenery. She has been a speaker in seminars and conferences in China, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine. She constantly cooperates with employees of municipal offices in various Polish cities, participating in national and international conferences and workshops on green roofs and living walls. She is also the author of several urban park projects. She is founding member and current president of the Polish Green Roofs Association, founding member of Association of the Polish Landscape Architects and member of the Association of Lower Silesian Gardens
