NEEM OIL (Fungicide/Insecticide/Miticide)


Neem oil is a naturally occurring organic insecticide obtained from the seeds of the neem tree. The oil is extracted from the neem seeds and leaves and is either sold in its pure form, or mixed with other ingredients to make neem based pesticide sprays.


Why to use

  • ·        Neem oil is a natural product, absolutely non-toxic, 100% biodegradable and eco friendly medicine.
  • ·        It is used to manage all pest like, Aphids, Mites, Scales, Leaf hoppers, White flies, Caterpillars Mealybugs, Thrips which feed on Vegetables, Fruits, flowers, and Ornamentals.
  • ·        It is also used to control fungal diseases like black spot on roses, powdery mildew, Downy Mildew, Anthracnose, Rust, Leaf spot, Botrytis, Needle rust, Scab, Flower blight, Twig blight and Tip blight.
  • ·        It acts as an Anti-Feedant, insect repellent, Fungal and insect growth inhibition.


When to use

  • ·        Neem oil can be sprayed at any stage of the plant growth.
  • ·        For better Management of pest and diseases it is recommended to spray neem oil at weekly interval from initial stage of plant growth (15 Days after sowing or transplanting).


How to use

    • Dosage - 20 mL of Neem oil in 1 litre of water.


    • Solution preparation  


  • ·        20mL of Neem oil + One pinch of Detergent powder + 1 litre of water.
  • ·        Mix the solution thoroughly.


    • Method of application


Spray the prepared solution on both the side of leaves, stem, fruits and vegetables.

The solution should cover the entire plant surface.

Keep on mix the solution while spraying; because oil and water are tend to separate.

Repeat the spray at 7 days interval.



  • ·        3-4 drops of soap solution can be used if detergent is not available.
  • ·        Detergent powder or soap solution acts as catalyst which helps in mixing of oil with water.
  • ·        For the better control of pests and diseases it is suggested to spray either in morning or evening hours.
  • ·        Spray must be given with fine mist to avoid dropping of medicine from leaves.
